Since 2017, the FIA Smart Cities initiative has been a key platform to help shape a better future for urban mobility.
Over 3,000 participants from all over the world and more than 100 high level speakers from the public and private sectors, international organisations and FIA Member Clubs participated in the FIA Smart Cities Forum to discuss the path towards more sustainable and liveable cities.
The FIA Smart Cities initiative also supports start-ups from all over the world to drive change in the way we move around cities. The FIA Smart Cities Global Start-Up Contest supported 12 winners from 11 countries so far.
To adapt to the rapid spread of COVID-19, the FIA Smart Cities Season 4 was delivered in a fully digital format and accompanied key stakeholders in facing this global challenge. For its Season 5, the initiative goes digital again to keep the discussion going. Watch our recap video below and register for our next FIA Smart Cities eForum – Americas on 'Micromobility and Multimodality for a New Urban Transport Landscape' taking place on 17 June.
